Kilpatrick’s Financial Institutions Team is seeking an associate with at least 2 years of experience with banking and financial institutions regulatory matters and/or securities law, including M&A. The associate should have experience in federal securities law, securities offerings, and ability to counsel clients on requirements of federal securities law and/or bank regulatory laws. Desired skill sets include: the ability to support other attorneys on a wide variety of deals—including securities offerings, the ability to draft SEC reports and M&A transaction documents for sophisticated public and private clients, and familiarity with corporate governance principles for public companies and banking industry. All applicants should have superior academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable client relationship skills. The position is located in our Washington, D.C. office. DC bar preferred.
(Salary range $225,000 – $285,000)
