As part of their efforts to increase the diversity of the legal pipeline, AT&T and Kilpatrick Townsend are hosting the Kilpatrick Townsend/AT&T 1L Summer Fellows Program, a unique experience for 1L law students to spend 2-3 weeks of their 10-week Kilpatrick Townsend Summer Associate experience working with members of the AT&T Legal Department at AT&T’s offices.
During this time, Summer Fellows will work with and be mentored by experienced AT&T lawyers, providing the Fellows an opportunity to practice in-house and learn how the lawyers advise and advocate for a multinational public company.
Kilpatrick Townsend Summer Associates have the opportunity to do substantive work on a variety of projects throughout the summer, acquiring new skills and gaining invaluable legal experience. Summer Associates participate in dedicated progress evaluations to review attorney feedback on their work product. The Summer Committee members in each office serve as mentors for the course of the program providing guidance for evaluations, assigning work, and coaching Summer Associates.
The AT&T Summer Fellow will spend the first 3-5 days of the Fellow Program at AT&T in the Dallas Headquarters office and the remaining time in the Fellow Program will be spent at the AT&T office in Atlanta.
