Patent Prosecution Team Attorney – Software Technologies (DC / GA / NC)

 

Kilpatrick’s Electronics & Software Team is seeking a full-time USPTO-registered patent prosecution Team Attorney experienced in preparing and prosecuting software-related applications.

 

Applicants with at least 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution are preferred, with aptitude for portfolio development and client counseling a plus. This position is an alternative to traditional partnership-track positions, and has a lower billable hour requirement. Applicant must have a USPTO Reg. No. and possess a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Prefer education or patent prosecution work experience related to software technologies such as cloud, security encryption, AI, bioinformatics, mobile applications, databases, and networking. Applicant must be detail oriented and have strong written and verbal skills. Transcripts and patent prosecution writing samples will be requested. Primary office locations for this opening include Atlanta, Raleigh, Washington DC, or Winston-Salem. Policy Analyst (DC)

We are seeking a Policy Analyst to join our Government Relations and Regulatory team. The Policy analyst will provide government relations or regulatory support to the team. The position is based in Washington, D.C., and requires in-person work in downtown D.C., including engagements with Congress and federal agencies. 

 

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Responsibilities include:

  2. Policy Analysis and Communication: Assist the team in drafting memoranda, policy briefs, letters, legislative summaries, talking points, and other materials to clients.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Government Relations Advisor to join our Government Relations and Regulatory team.

 

The Government Relations Advisor will work with the team to provide federal government relations and/or regulatory services to clients across various sectors. The position is based in Washington, D.C., and requires in-person work in downtown D.C., including engagements with Congress and federal agencies, as well as travel as needed.
